  • Day1
    Arrival at Capetown

    Resting at the confluence of the Indian and Atlantic oceans, situated between the slopes of the iconic Table Mountain and the glistening sapphire waters of the Atlantic and Indian oceans, the exceptionally scenic city of Cape Town is in a class of its own. Some cities boast rich culture, vibrant nightlife, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and extraordinary architecture, while others boast breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary natural wonders. Cape Town is fortunate to be blessed with all of these attractions and so much more. With its bustling harbour, world-class beaches, top-notch vineyards, and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates the hearts of all who visit.
    On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will proceed to a COVID-19 screening before passing through customs and collecting their luggage. After passing through the arrivals terminal our guide will meet them with a signage board depicting clients’ name. The guide will assist clients with their luggage and disinfect all bags before loading, thereafter temperature checks will be done and hands sanitized before clients are able to enter the vehicle for their transfer to their hotel.
    The Cresta Grande Cape Town (check-in after 15:00 hrs.) is located in the heart of the city and within walking distance to most tourist attractions, large corporations, shopping, museums, Cape Town International Convention Centre, and restaurants and nightlife.

    Capetown

    Today you will be taken on a Scheduled Half day City Orientation Tour - to learn all about Cape Town’s rich history and vibrant cultures. Some of the highlight stops will be the beautiful Company Gardens and the Castle of Good Hope, a historical fort which is the oldest building in the country. You will also visit the colorful BoKaap area, previously known as the Malay Quarter, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill this is the spiritual home of Cape Town’s Muslim community and one of Cape Town’s most popular stops for Instagrammers. We then take a trip up Cape Town’s landmark and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Table Mountain. A 5-minute cableway ride takes you to the top of the mountain fr om where you will enjoy uninterrupted views over the city bowl and across the peninsula.
    *Please note, this activity is weather permitting and an alternative will be arranged by the guide should the cableway be closed.
    The remainder of the day can be spent at leisure at the vibrant V&A Waterfront, where clients can do some shopping, have a meal, soak up the exciting atmosphere, take a trip on the observation wheel, visit the aquarium, take a helicopter ride or perhaps do the Robben Island excursion... the choices are endless! Alternatively, clients may want to return to their hotel and enjoy the quietness and comforts provided.

  • Day3
    Capetown

    Today you will enjoy a Scheduled full day tour of the scenic Cape Peninsula travelling along the Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay, passing magnificent beaches and the wealthy coastal suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandadno. From Hout Bay Harbour they have the option to proceed on a boat trip to Duiker Island (not included), to see the thousands of Cape Fur Seals living on this rocky outcrop. Hout Bay Harbour is a busy fishing harbour sure t o keep them entertained and their cameras snapping. Browse for souvenirs at the Hout Bay Craft Market or take a walk on the beach and paddle their feet in the sea.
    The tour continues over Chapman’s Peak, known as one of the most spectacular scenic drives in the world, all the way along the Peninsula to the southern tip at Cape Point. An invigorating walk takes them to the two lighthouses at the top and bottom of the headland, from where they will enjoy extraordinary views of the cliffs and the ocean below. Alternatively, they could take a short funicular ride to the top (for own account). Take a photo down at the most south western point of the African continent at the Cape of Good Hope Beach.
    Later travel along the False Bay coastline to the Naval village of Simon’s Town. They will visit the delightful African Penguins of Boulders Beach and then the drive takes them back via Cape Town’s coastal and southern suburbs for a final stop at the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens(time permitting and entry on your own).

    Capetown – Stellenbosch

    A blend of historical architecture, epicurean delights and oak-lined avenues, Stellenbosch is a picturesque university town surrounded by mountains and vineyar ds in the W estern Cape Province of South Africa. A walking tour of the town centre allows visitors to take in its beautifully preserved Cape Dutch and Victorian architecture, as well as the many enticing art galleries, craft shops, clothing boutiques and gift stores, while foodies may prefer indulging in mouth-watering cuisine, and fine wines at one of the chic restaurants or buzzing bistros. Stellenbosch is also the ideal base from which to explore the renowned local wine route, boasting a high proportion of the country’s leading wine estates.
    Today you will be met by our Car Rental Representative and be handed the keys to their vehicle with a detailed breakdown of agreement as well as any assistance required with GPS. After check out, clients will travel to Stellenbosch via Cape Winelands.     Stellenbosch – Hermanus

    Situated just 140 kilometers from Cape T own and built between the beautiful shores and cliffs of Walker Bay, Hermanus has grown from a small seaside resort town to become possibly the best-known place for whale watching in the world. This town is also famed for its natural scenic beauty, long stretches of pristine beaches and excellent variety of r estaurants, cafes and bars. Today, Hermanus is more than just a popular holiday destination and offers visitors all kinds of activities, both energetic and relaxing. Visitors can explore the Old Harbour Museum, which iscomprised of the charming fisherman’ s village, the old harbour , and the Whale House Museum; hike through the nearby Fernkloof Nature Reserve, and sample an array of top-quality wine along the famed Hermanus Wine Route.

    Today you will drive via the scenic route on R44 to the coastal town of Hermanus which is known as the home of the Southern Right Whales. Enjoy the drive alon g the coast passing Strand, Gordons Bay, Pringle Bay and Bettys Bay, We recommend stopping at Stony Point to view the Penguins and Harold Porter Botanical gardens and one of the many restaurants along the way before checking in
    at your hotel after 15:00 hrs. You are free to explore the town which includes the beaches such as Voelklip and Grotto Beaches, the Old Harbour Museum as well as the many adventure activities on offer such as Shark Cage Diving, Ziplining and Quad Biking.     Hermanus – Knysna

    Sandwiched between the towering Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean, Knysna is known as the ‘Garden of Eden’. It is surrounded by world-renowned forest s, lovely lagoons and pristine beaches. Visitors can look forward to an array of markets offering delici ous food and organic locally-made goods, explore the town’s picturesque waterfront and wander the quaint streets, adventure through the lush forest, skip over streams and catch a glimpse of the multicolored Knysna Loerie, take a ferry trip to the famed Knysna Heads and sample the local oysters. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of exciting activiti es including: surfing, swimming, yachting, jet-skiing, boating, fishing, and golfing. After check out, you will travel to Knysna via the Garden Route; passing through the spectacular landscapes of the Elgin Valley, through the picturesque town of Swellendam at the foot of th e Langeberg mountains and onwards past Mossel Bay and George. Thi s drive will take between 5 and 6 hours, and a comfort and lunch stop will be made along the way. Knysna is a quaint coastal town located on the edge of a vast estuary which flows i nto the Indian Ocean through two giant sandstone heads situated in the heart of the Garden Route and the perfect base from  which to explore the Garden Route.Today you can end the evening with a visit the popular Knysna Waterfront, which boasts some boutique shops, a range of restaurants and a superior marina. Clients will depart on a John Benn Sunset cruise on the lagoon, the perfect ending to this day.

    Knysna

    After breakfast, you will depart on to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich Capital of the world, and is just one of the many attractions in this area of exceptional contrasts and natural beauty. On arrival in the town a visit will be made to the famous Cango Caves where you c an experience a guided Heritage Tour - an easy walk through the largest and most spectacular chambers of these limestone
    caverns, to marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations.
    The next stop is Safari Ostrich Show Farm, where you will learn more about these giant flightless birds and the history of their farming in the area. The last stop for the day will be to Cango W ildlife Ranch, a unique world-class facility which strives to provide wildlife conservation through education by means of various projects, initiatives and informative guided tours.

    Knysna – Kwantu

    As South Africa’s ‘wild’ province, the Eastern Cape features magnificent stretches of untouched beach, peaceful river estuaries, lush forests, breathtaking mountain vistas, and the arid Karoo Desert landscape. Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth) serves as the provinces primarycommercial and industrial centre as well as a gateway to the popular Garden Route where visitors can enjoy ancient forest walks, surfing in the world-renowned surf spot of Jeffrey’s Bay, and even bungee jumping from the world’s highest bridge bungee above the Bloukrans River. Beyond the Garden route lie some spectacular malaria-free wildlife reserves including the remarkable Addo Elephant National Park, now the only place in South Africa where you can see the Big Seven - elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard, whale and shark. Further east, dont miss the Wild Coast region, which offers visitors a glimpse of rural African village life as it is far less developed than the rest of South Africa.
    After breakfast, you will depart to Port Elizabeth passing Plet tenberg Bay known for its sandy beaches, vineyards and horse-riding, the luscious forests of th e Tsitsikamma Nature Reserve, where you can enjoy a walk on the suspension bridge, bungee jump off the Bloukrans Bridge. You will drop your rental car at Port Elizabeth Airport and be met by a Lodge representative for your shared transfer to Kwantu Private Game Reserve. Kwantu Private Game Reserve offers a feast for the imagination catering from 5 Star safari accommodation and safari day visits in the Eastern Cape’s premium Big 5 Game Reserve. This magical enchanting big 5 wildlife game reserve is located in the Malaria Free Eastern Cape, and is situated close to Port Elizabeth. Kwantu Private Game Reserve is situated a mere 85km from Port Elizabeth on the N2 national highway towards Grahamstown. This afternoon track a magnificent elephant herd as they move silently through the bush or admire stately giraffe as they effortlessly weave their way through spikey acacia thicket – stopping to enjoy the phenomenal sunset and a variety of scrumptious snacks – bef ore returning to camp for a delicious dinner.

    Kwantu

    From the comfort of our specially equipped open Land Rovers, you encounter the impressive BIG 5 roaming freely on the Sidbury plains. Here the white rhino, monarchs of the African bush roam the plains as freely as they did hundreds of years ago. Delight in the entertaining squabbles and games of the playful Vervet monkeys or Chacma baboons, the original comedians of the wild! Indulge your fascination as you stumble upon a family of warthog, digging for roots or speeding across the lains with their trademark “tails held high”. You’ll be awestruck by the zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, and many of the common and rare antelope who have roamed these plai ns for centuries. From the delicate solitary Blue duiker, who melts out of the brush at the edge of a clearing, to the towering kudu bull, who fixes his gaze on you as he browses nearby . At night the porcupine, aardwolf, caracal, and other nocturnal explorers and predators patrol the silent, inky darkness.

    Departure

    This morning you will say a farewell to Kwantu and all the wild life with a last morning game drive (time permitting) and breakfast before checking out and transferring to Port Elizabeth Airport for the departure flight.
