About Hotel –
- Check-in at 13:00 hrs. / Check-out time is
11:00 hrs.
- The tourism infrastructure in Sikkim
& Darjeeling is not very developed and one should not expect or
compare it with the standards of plains & other developed destinations
there is always a scarcity of water and power in the region and so you would
come across situations like water (hot) being supplied on a limited time
basis – morning & evening.
- Room
Heater available with an extra cost Bourne by the guest directly (Except
at Premium+, Premium & Luxury categories) only for FIT booking & for GIT booking it is not possible to
provide the same)
- Category of Rooms in the packages
normally remains deluxe / super deluxe room.
- Hotels are very strict with the child
policy. Please carry the age proof so that it can be produced if asked by the hotel.
- A valid photo ID
proof for all guests staying at the hotel is mandatory.
- For Extra adults in the room we will
provide an extra bed (wherever possible), but most of the hotels only
provide extra mattresses or roll-out beds. Most of the hotels have no
provision for an extra bed.
- Operator reserves the right to
re-arrange the itinerary to suit hotel availability without changing the total
number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- In the area (almost all) the hotels do
not have a lift facility and in all the hotels the guest will have to
climb stairs. In case any guest is having a problem with blood pressure,
knee, or another ailment for which they cannot climb the higher floors they
will have to intimate us during the time of booking so that we can arrange
rooms at the lowest floor of the hotel enabling the guest to climb the
minimum number of stairs possible.
About Transport
–
- If the arrival of guest is by train at NJP
Railway Station, please be informed that our executive will be there to
receive the guest at the New Exit Gate (Near Escalator) or arrive at Bagdogra
Airport our executive will be there with the PLA – CARD at Exit Gate on
the Airport.
- The guest should always keep cool with
the drivers as they are not tourism educated and come from different
remote villages.
- As there is a shortage of space for car parking
in the entire Sikkim & Darjeeling region – guests will have to wait at
the Lobby in time for the vehicle to start their sightseeing/transfers.
- We would appreciate it if the guest does
not lend their ears to the drivers as most of the time they misguide the
passengers. In such instances, we would request them to contact our
executive.
- On arrival of guests we will provide
mineral water, local tour co-coordinator number & service voucher. Our
representative will brief the total tour itinerary to the guest.
- As most of the services are on point to
point basis, it is obvious that the drivers would also keep changing.
Keeping this in mind please ensure that you do not leave your belongings
in the vehicle as there is very little possibility of getting them back.
Always check your baggage before leaving the vehicle.
- In this sector the same vehicles will
not be provided for the entire tour, it will be changed sector-wise. So
we request you to inform the same to your guest to avoid any circumstances.
- If any tourist spot does not complete
which falls on closing day & if they want to do the same on the next day
then they have to pay the extra cost for the vehicle.
- If guests want any changes in their
sightseeing schedule they should be informed by our executive the previous day
before 16:00 hrs, after that no changes are allowed. If the guest informs after 16:00 hrs it will be considered as a cancellation with no refund or the guest will pay extra cost to reschedule the sightseeing.
- Please inform your guest to maintain
the timing for the sightseeing/transfers which will be advisable by our
executive. Mainly in Gangtok vehicles will not be allowed to park at the hotel
instead of parking stand. Once our vehicle will leave the hotel area
without picking up the guests & come back to the parking stand the guest
must have to arrange their own to reach the parking stand.
- In Gangtok outside vehicles are not
allowed to enter the city. Only local taxis can roam around Gangtok City. All outside vehicles will pick up & drop them off from the Deorali taxi stand. We provide local taxis for pick up & drop from the hotel to the taxi stand. For this reason, guests have to wait sometime in the
taxi stand.
- In case the guest is opting for Innova
/ Scorpio inform the guest to travel with minimum baggage (one baggage per
person). In case of excess baggage, the guest will have to opt for an extra
vehicle for carrying the excess baggage. The cost of this extra vehicle
will be borne by guests directly.
- Operator reserves the right to

number of days in each destination and without compromising any services.
- Only 06 heads are allowed in 1 Innova /
Scorpio / Xylo including child and 08 heads are allowed in 1 Sumo / Max
including child. In case the number of travelers increases, then the
guest will have to opt for the additional vehicle with an extra cost which
is directly payable by the guest on the spot.
Nathula
Pass:
Nathula's visit is subject to the availability of a permit & road conditions.
Only limited permits are issued by the army before 48 hrs of tour. It is open
only on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun. NAME, ADDRESS, AGE & GENDER of all
guests traveling are required for processing of permit. Normally organizing a permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, the minimum time required is 72 hours
before the arrival. We will try our best, but in case of the non-availability of a permit, the tour will only be till Baba Mandir. In one vehicle only 8 persons
are allowed. In case
the permit is available one can opt for the trip with an extra charge.
Guest must carry photo proof identity cards such as
Voter Id / Passport and passport size photograph. (PAN Card & Aadhar
Card are not considered valid ID proof)
Ø As a permit is mandatory and a very
limited number of permits are issued per day for visiting Nathula, Guest have to
travel by any car whichever is available (like
Innova/Xylo/Scorpio /Maxx/Bolero/Sumo) as per permit issued. We cannot
give any choice on Vehicle type. This
is to inform you that to control and send more tourists to
Nathula Pass, the Department of Tourism after consulting with
travel agents laid down the following rules.
Ø
The travel agent can
only submit their application along with one copy of a passport photograph and
identification proof (no pan card).
Ø
In case of less than 6 people from one travel agent the
department generally club a small number with another travel
agent’s small number of tourist just for 4 km up and down before Nathula pass.
Ø The Indian Army allows visiting Nathula from
11 am to 12. 30 pm only. Guest have to start early from Gangtok. If the guest makes a delay in starting ex Gangtok we cannot guarantee the visit despite having a confirmed permit.
Ø In high season limited permits will be issued
by authorities. We will try to get the permit but if we will not get the permit
then we will refund the supplement amount after the end of the tour.
Ø Please note if Nathulla passes permit is not done
due to weather conditions / Land slide / any other reason then we will refund
the supplement amount after the end of the tour.
Ø Also note that if a Nathulla Pass permit is
issued and due to weather conditions / Land slide / any other reason they can’t
visit Nathulla Pass then we cannot refund anything.
For Sumo
The above quotes
are based on Non Ac Tata Sumo's / Mahindra Maxx / Wagon R / Indica. You must be
aware that when a guest is traveling in a Non Ac Tata Sumo's / Mahindra Maxx /
Wagon R / Indica the vehicle changes every day/Sector wise & will be on
contract as per the itinerary. This vehicle is not at your disposal. These vehicles
cannot drop the guest, to the hotel (Government rule) and will have to leave
the guest, at the Taxi Stand. From the Taxi stand, the guest is shifted into a local Taxi (Maruti Van / Wagon R maximum 4 pax in a vehicle) and then transferred
to their respective hotels. Again the day they are going to Lachung, Lachen or
Tshangu Lake and Nathula, they have to be transferred, by local Taxi, to a
different stand and then get shifted into their vehicle which is a NAC Tata
Sumo / Mahindra Maxx. The same exercise is vice-versa, on their return from
Lachung, Lachen, or Tshangu Lake and Nathula. This Taxi fare is already included
in the package's price quoted. Guest
may have to wait for the taxi transfer
Due to
vehicle-parking difficulty, most of the areas are restricted to entry of
vehicles & specific time is allotted for entries. Kindly follow the time
strictly as given to you. In case of delays, the vehicle will have to leave the
hotel area without you & get parked in a parking area. In such a case, you
will have to be transferred to a Maruti Van FOR WHICH THE COST WILL HAVE TO BE
BORNE BY YOU & WILL HAVE TO be COLLECTED DIRECTLY FROM GUEST.
Package rates quoted are calculated at the prevailing rates on a twin-sharing basis and are subject to change in the event government changes the tax policy/ if hotels change their rates or for situations beyond the control of Trinity World Holidays Pvt Ltd.
Air conditioning in the car/transport will be turned off while climbing Hills.
Non-Ac rooms are provided in all hill stations.
Given hotels and rooms are on a confirmed state but in case of any unexpected situation or any
technical fault which leads to the cancellation/overbooking of any booked Hotel, Trinity world holidays reserves
rights to change the hotel and provide any other hotel of similar standard.
Trinity World holidays entire liability to the Client for any claim arising out of this Package / browsing the
website/ application shall be limited to the amount equivalent to the price paid by the Client for
the Package giving rise to such a claim minus all applicable taxes and third-party charges.
You are advised to look at the reviews about the hotels you are staying at before booking the package. Amending the hotel after booking will attract an additional charge of Rs.500 per person. Changing hotel /meal plan/ car/refund of unused meals on tour is not possible.
Any legal disputes subject to jurisdiction in Mumbai Only
Payments:
Advance payment: 50% advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis for all the services contracted. Balance payment 30 days before travel. It will be the right of Trinity World Holidays Pvt Ltd to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service and the time left for the commencement of the tour. Full payment is required to be received in advance for the bookings during the peak season or Travel is within 30 days.
Cancellation charges:
Cancellation Charges per person
Before 30 days from the travel date -Non-Refundable booking amount (Rs.5000)
Between 29 - 20 days from the travel date- Non-refundable booking amount + 25% of the Tour cost
Between 19 - 15 days from travel date-Non-refundable booking amount + 50% of the Tour cost
Between 15 days till travel date-100% of the Tour cost
Cancellation/curtailment/amendment while on tour, No Refund
Note
The above-mentioned cancellations are general cancellation policies and are subject to change depending on the travel date, destination, package, and services booked and paid for.
During Blackout and surcharge periods, trade fairs, and for all reconfirmed Bookings, the above Cancellation may not be applicable and may vary.

Refund.
Refund if any, of the cancelled booking will be given within 30 days after your notification.
