Itinerary

• Day1

  Guwahati Airport – Kaziranga (Distance: 170 kms / 04 hrs. approx. drive one way)

  On arrival at Guwahati Airport & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Enroute visit Maha Mrityunjay Temple. On arrival at Kaziranga Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kaziranga.
  
  

• Day2

  Kaziranga National Park

  Morning after breakfast proceed to visit Jungle Jeep safari explores any one zone of Kaziranga National Park. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. Afternoon visit Kaziranga Orchid Park. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Kaziranga. 
  Important note: Jeep safari are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have any control on the booking. Jeep safari are subject to availability only.

• Day3

  Kaziranga – Shillong (Distance: 230 kms / 05 hrs. approx. drive one way)

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), which is called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. Reach Shillong and then visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed) & Ward’s Lake. Check in at your hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Shillong.

• Day4

  Excursion to Cherrapunjee (Distance: 60 kms / 02 hrs. approx. drive one way)

  After early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, Enroute visit Elephanta Falls. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Shillong.

• Day5

  Excursion to Dawki & Mawlynnong (Distance: 80 kms / 03 hrs. approx. drive one way)

  After early breakfast drive to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Later proceed to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the Living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Evening drive back to Shillong. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Shillong.

• Day6

  Shillong– Guwahati (Distance: 100 kms / 03 hrs. approx. drive one way)

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and then proceed to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at hotel. Then proceed to visit Guwahati sightseeing’s: Cruise to Umananda Temple, Navagraha Temple, Assam State Museum (Closed on Monday), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden. Evening shopping at Fancy Bazaar. Return to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Guwahati. Note: If time permits then only above Guwahati sightseeing’s is possible.

• Day7

  Departure

  fter breakfast, check-out from the hotel and then proceed to visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark), and then transfer to Guwahati Airport for your journey back to your home town with sweet memories. TOUR ENDS
